Sliding Patio Doors... Privacy?

What are the options for keeping privacy with sliding patio doors?

Is it basically a choice of vertical blinds or... nothing?

Is there any kind of net curtain arrangement that could be practical?

    Hello!

I would imagine if you can attach things to the wall around it you could place blinds or net curtains, my Mum just has curtains over hers as they lead into the garden!

    Sorry if not much help!

There's room for either. I'd love some nets with a nice pair of plush full length curtains over the top, but I just don't know about the practicality of having nets over a sliding patio door.

I'm not against blinds, but would they work said full length curtains over the top or just look daft?

Could you have nets like hotels have .... two nets like a pair of curtains and a pair of discreet hooks behind the main curtains to tie them back for when you want to be in/out.

Having net curtains will restrict a light of light , I personally cant stand them.....I f you had a vertical blind fitted you would be able to have them pulled right back , slightly opened , or whatever , they would give you way to control privacy and light.......Ive had quite a lot made on ebay and I cant fault the blind or the price, plus you can choose what colour you want.......

You can get that stuff that you can put on your car windows to give a mirror effect.

Of course. Exactly what my mother has over hers.
