Can I claim from GE Money?

Hi there.
I am hoping someone could help or advise me please.

Back in August 2009, my gas boiler died, British Gas condemned it so I needed a new boiler fast. British Gas installed a new one for me costing over £3,000.

I had to take a loan from British Gas and GE Money so we could have hot water and heating etc. Over the years, I have paid £61.09p a month, which was deducted from the balance, then £51.66 was added back to my account as interest and admin charges etc. This amount decreases each month by about 50p and 60p etc!

I have since took a loan from Nationwide and paid this loan off from GE Money - my question is, can I claim back some of, if not most of the admin charges I incurred please?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Many thanks.

On what basis would these charges be refunded? You don't appear to have any valid complaint, so why would they refund?

Well basically, the charges do appear to be very high. I cannot remember ever being told that the charges would be almost 85% of my monthly payment.

I don't think that's a valid complaint reason, you chose and signed to take the loan from GE Money on those terms-just because you "don't remember" doesn't mean you should (or will) be refunded.

You don't need to be told.
