Damaged Freezer

Had an upright freezer delivered 3 weeks ago from Appliances Online, didn't unpack it until last night due to new kitchen in the process of being fitted. Found that it had been dropped on its top back corner and it is badly crushed in.
Emailed supplier and they have just replied saying it is not their problem as I should have checked it within 5 days of receipt.
Is this correct ? Do I have any redress ?
Surely they need to replace this badly damaged appliance.
Any help on what I should do or say would be greatly appreciated.

Is it cosmetic and the appliance is still working ok?
It may be easier to actually contact the manufacturer and they may send out a replacement panel, so it looks ok again. This is done very often in the white goods sector.0 -

Terms and conditions are irrelevant, it's what the law says that counts.What did the Terms and Conditions say?
In this case if it went to court a judge would have to decide whether or not 3 weeks was enough time to make sure the goods conform to contract.
With the op not being ready to install the goods until now he/she may decide if the OP can prove it wasn't needed till now then they may agree with the OP. It's no done deal because 3 weeks is ample time but there would be a chance.0
