Lloyds TSB credit card ppi offer

Hello all,
Im new to the site and just needed some advice on an offer I received from TSB for my partners credit card. She has had ppi on her card since 2007 and they have offered to pay £64.14 to cover its cost. I just wanted to know if this was a fare offer or not. The card limit was £1000 but is now £950 and the balance is constantly around the £800 mark or higher. She always pays the minimum payment or more when we can. I dont want to come across as greedy, Im aware we only get back what we lost but I just need some advice from people more knowledgeable than myself. Thanks in advance

That would appear to be very low, if the balance is what you say it normally is. Does she have any statements that show the PPI fee, especially if those total more than the amount offered.
You can always challenge the amount and request a redress breakdown, but if you have those statements and it is more than they have offered, then you have a good place to start with.0 -
Hi and thanks for the reply. She does have statements but what should I look for on them. I dont remember seeing anything about ppi on them but I will check again. We should have statements going back a few years as we tend to keep important docs for 5 years before we get rid of them.0

If you can't see PPI on any of your statements, you didn't pay any for those particular months which probably accounts for your low redress offer. She does have statements but what should I look for on them. I dont remember seeing anything about ppi on them.
You should look for PPI payments.0 -
What you might want to check out is whether any earlier cards had PPI and any later linked cards did not. That would explain why you cannot see any PPI FEE transactions on the recent statements if you had a debit balance on the card.0
