parking ticket in a disc zone

i got a parking ticket in a disc zone. the parking regulations start at 9.00am and you are allowed 2 hours free parking. i forgot to display my disc. i got a ticket at 10.20 am. i returned to my car at 10.30am.

i feel a sense of injustice as i have been given a ticket when it is plain to seei havent borken the regulations as i would get free parking until 11.00 if my disc was displayed. by the letter of the law i am obviously at fault, but surely the spirit of the law should take precedence in this case.

If this is a council PENALTY Charge Notice you are best posting on pepipoo. Be prepared to post up pictures of both sides of the PCN when you do.

However, if it was a parking charge issued by a private parking company then have a read of the advice in the NEWBIES sticky thread
