Smokers banned from using lifts

Oddly enough as I'm not English and therefore have English as a second language no, but I'm also not going to bother using perfect grammar on a forum, just as I wouldn't in a text message. I'm not sure why my phone autocorrected there to their though.
This really confuses me and this is not a pop at Gwylim honest, but you either know the correct word to use or you don't. Why is a forum or a text message an excuse to use the wrong word? I do sympathise if it's the auto correct and it could have been worse...
On the original topic I think it's a ploy to keep people at their desk, I used to work in an office where smokers got two 10 minute breaks a day and none smokers didn't get any breaks except lunch....0 -

Oops!!!! LOL
Office I used to work in, smokers got 2 x 10 minute breaks per day, non-smokers got (guess what?) 2 x 10 minute breaks per day!!!0 -

NB Yes I know I should just quit
Orrrrr, you could just stop smoking? :A0 -
For some people, the smell of smoke could well bring on an asthma attack, which for some, could be fatal.
I don't know of anyone whose ever had an asthma attack from standing next to someone smelly or someone whose just eaten smelly food.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

So could being in proximity to somebody who has eaten nuts for those with that allergy. They are absolute worse case scenarios and you can not gear life around them otherwise nobody would ever get out of their cotton wool cells
There are certain companies (including my dad's) which do ban people from bringing in nut based products.
Yes, they are worst case scenarios. But they are also very real.

Do you know of anyone that has died from an asthma attack from standing close to a smoker?
