I am taking someone to court and this has appeared on my money online application

A bar was put in place for Mr XXXXX

    So what does it mean?

Presumably moneyclaimonline have received a copy of the defence.
The bar is then placed on the account so that you cannot ask for judgement by default, that's all.

The claim process will now be transferred to a county court to handle.

(Edit: To explain more, when the online system was first set up, some unscrupulous litigants discovered and exploited a flaw in the software that allowed them to request & obtain judgement by default even though a defence had been filed.
The 'bar' on the account now prevents this occurring)

Also it then states he changed his address the day after? Why do that?

BTW he is defending against my claim

    Perhaps the defendant has moved?
Perhaps it's just a safer address for the defendant to receive mail at?
The matter will usually he transferred to the nearest county court to the defendant.
(Unless the defendant is a business and you are a consumer, in which case it's usually the closest court to you)
Perhaps the change of address was a way to get the matter transferred to the court of the defendant's choice? (Although there are other ways to request a choice of court)
Anyway, it's the address he now wants to be used to receive correspondence.
