Cleaning and unblocking drains using a patio jetwasher

I have a blocked drain, easily accessible from the side of the house via a manhole cover.
Has anyone tried unblocking using a domestic jetwasher, the type used for cleaning patios?
I want to save some money and do it myself if possible.

you can buy a drain cleaning kit for most big name pressure washers
have a look on you tube where the is a video showing the karcher drain cleaning kit in use0 -
No harm in giving it a go, but the professionals who jet drains have a special attachment.

If it doesn't work these are what you need,

a smelly job but saves a lot when compared to what the professionals charge0
