PPI student sold to me as a student

Hello,
Whilst at university I opened quite a few credit accounts and on most of them I had PPI so I am looking into claiming this back.
I just wanted to know if I have a case - as a full-time student at university and working less than 16 hours was I mis-sold PPI?
