A default remains a default, but is marked as a satisfied one.
The different agencies show this in slightly different ways on their report. In the monthly status history some will show this as an S for satisfied, while others will still show a D or 8 but report the satisfied status elsewhere on the entry.
That is just a matter of format and style on how they present raw data to consumers.
As long as the entry reports the status as satisfied somewhere then that is what a creditor checking from their end would see and take note of.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

I've been in a bun fight (a documented one) with RMA Resolve and Call Credit.
I now have a response from them that says they will change a marker to Satisfied from the Default that originally showed up on my report.
Will this suffice to improve my score and give me credit options or do I need to continue the fight to have the default removed entirely?
Thanks in advance.0
