We are having nachos, just wish OH would hurry up and make them. I have grated the cheese, that's my contribution, oh and turned the oven on.

    It was yummy. :D

    I am stuffed now. :o

Hope you have eaten too. ;)

I did wonder, sky looked a bit grim earlier on.
It's still nothing compared to what it used to be, we used to be woken up at 5am to go watch them on a Saturday morning.

Hi everyone, I've not been around for a while due to work related stress, its been hard for me to concentrate on money saving Some of you may remember I'd been having a lot of problems with work. More recently my boss made a giant leap from being bad to unbearable. I've been off for 3 weeks now and have a sicknote for 3 months for stress and anxiety. I won't be going back there though.

There are lot of people out there with similar problems. You must have a good relationship with your GP to have a 3 month note

Sorry to hear that, Evangeline. As Karlie says, it's more common than people might think. A while ago, a good friend of mine - big, forceful character, ex-rugby player - I hadn't seen for a while, called round to see him, turns out he was being bullied at work by his boss (a right little squirt, too:mad:), was getting stressed out, wife told him to go see his doctor, who interviewed him, then signed him off work for three months. He'd basically been "lying on the sofa scratching my @rse", as he put it, for about ten weeks ... couldn't face going out, meeting even good friends, anything really. All is resolved now, though - the company was really good about it all (he's back at the same job.
