I do a budget planner regularly and have been careful with spending/ waste.
So surprisingly I manage to run a car, pay mortgage etc.
So all my wages are banked and they soon mount up. My friend checked my car before it's mot last week so I didn't spend unnecessarily.
I have opened bank accounts to make the most of interest rates and also aim to save a large amount of money so we have something to fall back on or even more to somewhere larger in the future.
Now also trying to get shopping for Christmas and we also have a few treats coming up. We are off to pontine in the first week of September which cost 46 pound for 4 days. I also converted club cards rewards to pay for the O2 arena to see pharell Williams.
My friend is coming around in a while to start decorating my hall way. May be I should get a wriggle on and make a banana cake. I have a few bananas to use up.
So all in I was worried about the cut in money but I ve learnt some valuable lessons.grocery challenge 9.86/600 -
Don't be
cheer1eader, doesn't matter how many glitches anyone brings if any. I haven't brought much to the table myself. Couple of 1p chocolate finds, a M&S wine glitch that no one else got  and don't think anyone ever found any 4p wine glasses in Ts like I did. :rotfl:
I think if someone even mentions they have been unlucky when searching for something at least it saves someone else a trip :money: and the only way you know who might be local to you is by joining in with the chat.our t's used to be quite good for 1p finds but they've done it up recently & now can't find any  think they must have had a big clear out :rotfl:

Some people are very lucky when they have their own parental support network. My own parents are very old fashioned, mum doesn't drink, doesn't understand the need for time off away from the kids, she's old school "you have children, you look after them" type of approach. Don't get me wrong I can drop them off for an hour or so when I need to go to the Doctors etc but as for anything else I feel like I'm asking too much...
DD would love to sleep over, mum decorated the spare bedroom for her, bought new bedding and everything, saying in the holidays you can come and stay. DD has slept over once this year:(.
It's sad, but at the end of the day she's not going to change so I have to accept it.
Sorry bit of a ramble when no would have answered the question:rotfl:
Ah bless you I wish I lived near you as Nannylala makes a good babysitter as I really miss doing that as all my DGrandsons are in their twenties:eek:0 -

Happy birthday to Emmap. Missed the others, sorry!
August is a busy month for the Elite. We've only got a couple, had our 9 year anniversary on Wed and it's dd2's birthday on Tues.
November is our busy time, 5 family birthdays in the space of 2 weeks! Plus several friends.
When checking my As shop from yesterday I noticed that the tomato puree didn't appear at all. (Thankfully had a few other items anyway.) It's the tube one at 49p. Thought it would make a helpful filler as I use it often but obviously not!
