Do they own their home? Are they mortgage free? When it comes to monthly payments in/out...are they a saver, in negative balance or breaking even?

A few months back I got him to put what was then the full amount into their ISA and also to start a regular saver - they set up a standing order to put £500 into it a month.
So that was as far as I could push it with interest rates being so low.

He is now back working abroad. His salary is split - one part goes into his overseas account to pay for his everyday needs and £1500 is supposed to be going into his uk current account.
My thinking was that in a normal month I could more than the basic £500 into the regular savings - could put in up to £1000.

He has no outgoings, no car, no dependents, completely fancy free apart from the x box addition and an out of control spending habit which is now his current travel addiction.

He says he has had a lot of expenses to do with moving abroad but I can't see any obvious settling in expenses from the statement.

He still had a good balance in his current account but he has been using his credit card when travelling so his cc bills are creeping up, now at £600 a month - things like internal flights and bullet train trips costing hundreds etc.

So I reckon his weekly spend is now over £500 a week  so at this rate by October he will need the money he has in his regular saver to keep his current account balanced.

Anyway he is on the way back from Japan tommorow back to base and communication is very sketchy, terrible wi fi but I've sent him numerous messages with the blunt truth.

I am hoping he will cancel the next trip to Japan in September but he might already be committed.

    You are

    A Seraph

You are truly angelic. In fact, you are at the very top of the celestial hierarchy. If your behaviour was any better, you’d be God.

Has anyone used ST's and clicked on T's when uploading a receipt but ST's insists its W's  This has happened to me twice. I still seem to be getting my payouts but strange that it keeps changing what supermarket I have clicked.

Also got a Seabrookes £1 voucher to recycle. It keeps on about using Java and OH wont let me download it as he says it mucks up *his* computer.
