Just had the strangest occurrence with Ts home delivery. I had a delivery booked for 11am-12pm. At 11.05 I got a text saying they were very sorry but their van had broken down and my shopping would now be delivered tomorrow between 1pm & 2pm.
I was just thinking how great that was seeing as my dinner was on the broken down van........when my delivery turned up
I asked the driver about it and he said they had been running 50 mins late, but had managed to catch up and he knew nothing of a broken down van.

Do Ts send porkies to people by text when they are running late?

The sweet peach ones can't of been reduced to £4 in your store is that why it hasn't worked?

Confused or does this mean these are now £8 in morrisons?
I was only charged £23 for the whole shop so they were £4 instore.
    M's have changed the price.

Sorry for the late reply, I know you posted this 12 hours ago!

I got an apg for £11 so no bad really for £12, not what I was expecting but hey ho!

    Onto the next glitch!

A few years ago you might have been in your own home at your age and no Mummy to ask you to clean your room up.

    Lol! :rotfl:

I left home when I was 16 and I was raring to do so even before that. I thought I was all grown up at that age, but when I look back now I realise I was just a baby really! I went (alone) to work abroad in the far east when I was 23 with my airline ticket and £30 in my pocket. I had many great adventures in my youth, you only live once as they say! :j:beer:

Sounds lovely. I would love to live by the sea. Stuff T & A's, the sea wins every time. :T

Does anyone ever have one of those weeks when they just cant be bothered with the freebie game. I cant be annoyed doing nectar ads/swagbucks or surveys or anything this week. only ones did was the really good ones. cant be bothered scrabbling for tiny pennies !!

oh its probably just one of those weeks. ! :(

Just think of the overpayment letters being plastered all over the walls of your downstairs loo if you're in need of inspiration :)

I'm glad you are having a good time.
    Every generation has their day.

A lot of us oldies feel sorry for the youngsters of today.Poor job prospects and the hope of owning a home just a dream.A few years ago you might have been in your own home at your age and no Mummy to ask you to clean your room up.

I do find it a bit strange for a lad of 22 to be posting on a forum such as this.

I wouldn't feel too sorry for us young-uns, the ones with the get up and go and determination to succeed can still do ok for themselves, partly because they spend time reading and posting on a forum like this! ;)
  • My brain is spinning, I need to buy a lawn mower. I moved house and this is the first time I've had grass in my garden for over 12 years!
I currently have one of those push along grass cutters (non electric) but it doesn't seem to cut that well, I often have to stop it and get the grass out where it jams. :(

So I think I need to buy a proper lawn mower but I have no idea what to go for. :o

My garden is about 30ft long and a slight slope & few uneven patches.
I was thinking of something like this? http://www.tesco.com/direct/flymo-rollermo-1000w-electric-wheeled-rotary-lawnmower/205-3252.prd?pageLevel=&skuId=205-3252

I have some CC vouchers I could double up if I buy from Mr T, but I would consider buying something completely diffrent if anyone has any recommendations?
Thank you in advance my green fingered Elite friends x
