Back from the Doctors had a thorough checkup and no chest infection ,sore throat or temperature so no medication been given but just have to carry taking honey and lemon and a bit of cough mixture which to be honest does no good at all.If the cough continues for another 2-3weeks I have to go back as might need a chest xray:(

Thats about as much help to you as a chocolate teapot ! I tried taking the juice of half a lemon, a good dollop of runny honey and a measure of whisky all topped up with hot water last night plus a spoon of codeine linctus - it did seem to help for the first few hours. I managed to get to sleep and the cough didn't start again until around 4 am - much better than earlier in the week.

I'm still coughing now - a bit worried cos I sheared a crown/part of my tooth off yesterday and have an emergency dental visit this afternoon. Not sure how that will work out if I'm coughing all the time and can't keep my mouth open !

So does that mean you can't use them on the day they expire:o:eek:
