The difference was it was never enough, we had tiny portions and I was once accused of being a thief for trying to help myself to a biscuit! Had a right ding-dong with my father too, he would not believe I did not like coffee, I too threw up when forced to drink it. The difference is he thought I threw up to get to him
Oh how horrible for you E. Things like that never leave you, do they?
I like to think things like that help us to bring our own kids up differently. Break the cycle so to speak. I never blamed my mother for being that way, I don't think she knew anything else. Her own upbringing was very strict. You can either be a parent like your parents were, or treat your kids how you would like to have been treated yourself0 -
You don't have to wait, can load 3V onto your account if you wish.
Anon
May be repeating, but I use it on Sky. You can load on quite a bit and then it takes off the total balance every month
As mentioned I also use High Street Vouchers for S and A gift gards
You can load the cards onto PayPal and pay for things including you balance + £25
For those who used to use them on a.com, I checked with 3V and Asda now uses Verified by Visa, which 3V doesn't support0 -

oh I got fruit and veg:D:D my mum posted me vouchers from Liverpool (Echo) so I was able to take part this time despite (or in spite of) previous vouchers only being in the scum paper.
So now need to freeze raspberries and blueberries and make some puree stuff or something out of strawberries to freeze!
Will be making potato burek (pie) tomorrow ready for my kids coming back from break in croatia (my beautiful house I havent seen for years thanks to exDH) and lots of apple pies/crumbles (not very adventurous !)
Making space in freezer I seem to have copious amounts of finest burgers!!!! Do I need to defrost before using? previously used fresh ones for mince for all sorts!:D
:T:T:T glad you could partake

Good news - contrary to recent reports, W rtc multi discount still works (just bought bread and had to get something else otherwise free
).
I have had times where it has not worked and I think it happened when they pressed repeat rather than scanning the same item twice.

The only time its ever not worked for me was because the sa scanned one item to produce multiple labels that went on lots of different products
If only they had scanned a multibuy item and stuck a label on everything i would have emptied the entire cabinet! :rotfl:Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
One of the boxes in the back of my glory hole has 6 huge resume shampoo and 6 conditioner, plus some Nivea stuff
The other box is the same size and is crammed with cleaning stuff  all from the big MrA glitch :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I need to relax tonight with my feet up, I'm jig greed after sorting that lot out.
3 boxes of boys toys to suit ages 3 to 7, I don't think they want then now they are in their mid twenties :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:There's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.
Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.0 -
