I had not actually planned anything definite as such bubbs, I didn't really get mine and DD3s application sent in early enough with all the back log but had fingers crossed they might be back around the 6 week mark. That would have just given us chance to book something last minute.
I have phoned but they have to get someone else to phone me in next couple of days. I have just gone back through the notes you get and think it may be because I went back to my maiden name after my first marriage actually before I got my decree absolute, no kids and all that just wanted to start again.
Have been a bit tearful as getting copy of certificate is digging up a not nice past for me.
I have ordered it anyway as don't want to hold things up anymore than they have now been.
Has made me feel all funny, me and Mr TS have posh hotel booked tomorrow to celebrate our 25th, and now past has been raked up for me. I found it hard enough to get the decree absolute out of the box it was hidden in.

Well thank you Mr M, Mr A & Mr T. I have my orchard steak defrosting. An oven full of veg roasting in the Lurpak roasting oil & a massive dish of garlic mushrooms also in the oven. I used Lurpak clarified butter as a base for the garlic butter. Also have corn on the cobs ready to cook (lovely big ones 3 for £1) so quite a healthy tea planned (once the butter is drained off).
What is everyone doing with the Lurpak tubs and clarified butter? I have half a shelf full in the fridge and only used the liquid for roasting until today. I do not really make cakes. Is anyone using it as spread? I plan to freeze some eventually but no room at the minute.
I honestly didn't think that my freezer would ever look like it did last Christmas. But yet again it's jam packed and I am fighting the urge to buy another freezer:o

No nerfy I can't DD3 is a first time application (not even heard anything about her application) and because mine was an old blue passport from the late 80s I count as a new application too.

I'm just surfacing as I've had what must have been a terrible migraine today. Never known anything like it. Shaky, felt faint, almost sick. Tried to sleep it off by sleeping until 11am but it didn't work. Only just managed to eat. Had a bag of crisps as I couldn't contemplate anything else. Headache now gone. What a palaver. Looking forward to getting back to my old self after these various coughs, headaches, aches and pains!!
