The £2.50 always voucher works against any always product

Actually it would no doubt work against any product in the shop :)

Similarly, the Gillette razor £2 is supposed to be off the football special edition, but also happened to work on the Fusion razors which are RTC about £3.80 ish :D

Not sure which I would detest the most.. the tax office or mum and her hubby visiting!

I can totally relate to this comparison. :(

There was a really good slow cooker apple chutney recipe by Aly Hodge but the website page has since disappeared; I will try and scan my printout and post it.

    Slow cooker apple chutney
“If you have had little time to make any chutney ahead of time, either as gifts or for yourself, then try this slow cooker apple chutney. Because of the long and gentle cooking time in the slow cooker, apple chutney will have a well-developed flavour and as a result it can be eaten after cooking with no need to mature for 3 months. This recipe will make just over 1.3kg which was 3 large pasta sauce jars. I used soft dark brown sugar which has given it a more treacle depth to it and has made it very dark.” - Aly Hodge

    2 onions
675g cooking apples (6-7 apples depending on their size)
2 pieces of stemmed ginger, finely chopped
    3 garlic cloves, crushed
    450g soft light brown sugar
    175ml cider vinegar
    450g mixed dried fruit
    1 tsp salt

    1. Peel and chop the onions and place them in the pot. Core, peel and chop the apples into small even-sized pieces, and add them to the onions. Add the stemmed ginger, garlic, sugar and cider vinegar to the pot. Switch the slow cooker onto high.
    2. Leave uncovered and switch on the slow cooker. After 30 minutes stir until the sugar has been completely dissolved. Cover with the lid and leave to cook for 6 hours, giving it a stir occasionally.
    3. Towards the end of the cooking time add the dried fruit, making sure any large pieces are finely chopped. Add them to the slow cooker with the salt. Cover and cook for a further 2-3 hours, stirring a couple of times during this time.
    4. Spoon the chutney into hot clean jars. Screw on vinegar-proof lids (or they will rust and spoil the chutney). Label before storing in a cool dark place. Eat within 6 months. Once opened, store in the fridge.

    Jelly’s notes:
    - used 1kg of apples, prepared weight
    - used 250g dried fruit (value/own-brand kind)
    - made it spicy by adding 1tsp chilli flakes, 1tsp cayenne pepper, 1tsp garam masala
    - makes approx 5 jars (medium mayonnaise size)
    - keeps longer than 6 months

Well the lightening maps.org ap is totally correct we have a storm directly overhead - that little orange dot is a full on lightening and thunder storm and buckets of water :D

Well it did look urg this morning and the cats have been in all morning, Sophie is like the toddler that clings to your keg every time you sit down she jumps up and settles for a cuddle - all morning she's been like this

And I've got a full blown list for going into town and Asda

    Very complicated :D

There are 3 sorts of bread on Shopotize but the warburtons toasties is £1 in both Asda and tesco. Milk is another good matched filler but it was only 89p in Morribobs.

What about the marks picnic offer - if you have the new green redeem vouchers and works best if you like the salmon :D
