Thanks for the lovely birthday wishes and the pics everyone (I'm assuming this one is round-table related?
), I've been truly spoilt today by hubby and I feel very lucky
He's whisking me off for a posh weekend in Cheltenham, he's bought me some gorgeous dresses from French Connection which I would NEVER have bought for myself, and he's booked us a meal at Jamie's Italian, followed by tickets to see the Inbetweeners movie, which we've been talking about seeing for ages.
I then tried to reclaim some control over the purse strings by purchasing lots of fresh veggies at M and handing out the till spits to the people who were near me. They were actually appreciative, which makes a change, normally I get stared at like I've got two heads! I think the couple behind me on my third shop were impressed though, they thought the bag of spuds for £3.50 was good, and then I paid 12p for the whole shop and gave them a till spit for £1.50 off, they said I was teaching them the ways of the shopping master :rotfl:
To be fair, anyone who knows anything about how to get affordable weekly supermarket shopping would not go to M!
Happy anniversary to the Tigers, you've picked a great day!
Have you got a Jamie Oliver gold card - think you can apply online? You get emails with various offers about twice a month.
Also on 10 ways yesterday there was mention of a Jamie Oliver meal offer £20 I think .... Small saving.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
It'll work now. M prices updated on APG Tuesday afternoon which is why your Monday shop didn't work, was still on old prices.
And they'll have updated again today. Either to the correct price, revert to previous price or go n/a. All depends on the price collection team and the sels that were out yesterday
Have you had any results to confirm the comparison is right or are you assuming?Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
Our Ms is only allowing customers to buy 1 copy of The Sun
Luckily ours were bought before
The petrol, station was the only place I could find Suns so I took 5 in and the girls said I could only have 1 so I left them on the counter
I finally found them in a Londis on an estate - loads of them and no restrictions so at least I've spent my money in a local shop.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Blimey, is it viable to do that repair or better to cut your losses and get a different car?

The ginger cake on Shopotize is half price in Morrisons for 64p - wish I'd waited now bit I got my packs in Morribobs this afternoon.
I also checked for Seabrooks straight in this big Morrisons and I've now checked all sizes of all stores in out area and no where sells it“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove.
