Just found out last week's interview was a massive failure. :( And I still haven't heard back from one which I had to use LinkedIn to apply for on Tuesday, which is annoying. I've never really used LinkedIn for jobs before so I don't know how soon would be appropriate to follow it up with an email. Hate this jobhunting lark, it's so frustrating!

Sorry interview didn't go well. Did they give you any specific feedback that could be useful in the future?

I've been fortunate and not been out of work for any length of time but my sister was only able to find part time for 2 years, not in her field either and she was quite down about it all. She now has a great job. :T

Hang on in there, something will be right. :)

But not everywhere is allowing multiple shops!
Thing is, mine said come back again as the offer's on for a few days. I fail to see how that's different to me doing three transactions with three people on the same day!

I guess they are hoping people will be put off and not 'take advantage'. But as someone (Savvy perhaps) said, there are a limited amount of papers printed so they would know the maximum loss they would make. The only slightly unfair bit is that I would be getting someone else's alloted amount but not everyone will use it, or care.

Are you trying multiple shops one after the other with the same member of staff or do you have an extra vigilant supervisor? How else are they preventing multiple shops please? I do one shop at a time, sometimes using bag for life then straight round again and back to a different till. Unless they were watching every checkout you should be able to get a few shops complete before your profile is raised?

Blimey, is it viable to do that repair or better to cut your losses and get a different car?
