    Good morning
    Happy birthday Arthien

    Just back from morries.Very quiet in there.Bought 2 lots.Cost me 20p.
    I can't think why they gave £1 off if I spent £20:rotfl:

I had 2 shops on conveyor. 1st one gave me £1.50 off £20 which went to person next in line. 2nd shop gave me £2 off £30 which went to the person two behind me

I also told a lot of muggles about the f&v moc and for once got THANKED

Don't forget that you don't have to use Morries voucher all on fruit & veg. Just a single item will do for the voucher to work.

"£5 coupon is valid only on fresh fruit, fresh vegetables, fresh salad items and fresh herbs. Excludes any frozen fruit, veg, salads or herbs, salad bar items, seeds, nuts, flowers and plants."

Couple of ideas for cheap meals using the m vouchers. Both are SW variations so no butter.

    Spanish omelette

    All approx measures

    750g cooked, sliced potatoes
    Lge onion, roughly sliced
    9 medium eggs

    Switch oven to to 190c

Cook potatoes (or use leftovers) till just slightly under cooked. Cool quickly - drain and then fill the pan up with cold water. When cool, drain and slice them.
Put onion in a micro-dish with a little water. Cover with clingfilm and cook for 2 mins on high in microwave. When cooked drain liquid off of them.

    Mix 9 eggs together in a jug/bowl.

Spray omelette (frying pan about 9"/22cm size) with frylight (I use the buttery one). Heat for a minute on med/high on the hob. Pour enough egg mixture to cover the base thinly and then about a couple of tablespoons more. When the base is set (about 1 min) put a third of the potatoes and onions in and then cover with more of the egg mixture. Repeat until all is used. Turn off hob.

Put pan in oven with the handle pointing to the side wall and cook for 10 mins. Using a tea towel/oven gloves to hold the pan, turn it so that the handle faces the other side wall. Cook for a further 4 mins. Covering the handle again (so you don't get burnt) test by inserting a knife into the centre of the omelette. It should be very slightly runny as it will continue to cook when you take it out of the oven. If too runny, cook and test in 1 minute increments.

This can be eaten hot or cold. I have it cold with salad.

    Mixed veggie omelette/frittata

    2 Sweet potatoes
    Mixed coloured peppers
    Red onion large
    9 medium eggs

    Switch oven on to 190c.

Slice all veg thinly and put on a 'frylighted' baking tray. Cook for about 18 mins, till veg are just cooked.

    Mix eggs.

Cook the omelette/frittata as above, adding the mixed veg the egg mixture etc.

Transfer to the oven and cook as above.

Ditto eat hot or cold. Is especially good for picnics/packed lunches. Very filling if you are hungry because it is 'free' food on SW. My DN loves both as he is a vegetarian.

Any veg/leftover veg can be used.

    HTH

If you like Brussels, they can also be frozen. (Using m voucher). I know someone who gets kurly kale for their guinea pigs.

    Well said.

This has been a fab deal for many, many people and i would hate to see the actions of a few ruin it for the many
