    Happy birthday to all with birthdays today, or during August, or PD in September xx

    I tried to get an address for the new house (aka four half built walls) today so that water will connect, they said we need to name the house… surprisingly all my suggests were rejected. She ended up stating that she would send me the policy and a list of local names which I could read and then choose something that will be acceptable and what to avoid!

    My suggestions were….

    we don't like the neighbour and they call theirs xxx House, so I wanted to repeat the first name add Manor House. (Not able to choose similar names)

    Can I call it number 1 (as everything as names I need to name it)

    xxx's building plot (not acceptable)

    Eventually this house will get built even if I have to kill my other half (not acceptable)

    ……..she suggested lavender house… my response was… do I sound like someone who would live in a lavender house!

    Bless her, she was lovely

    :rotfl::rotfl:

    Oh sunshine what you like ?

    Can you not call it Sunshine house ?

    Burn......I love that word! (in that context) :D I hadn't heard it in a long time until you used it recently.

    I do hope all goes well at the dentist. I have to go back in 3 months, my heart sank when she told me that :(

    Morning all....

    Happy birthday to mildred and gocat...have lovely days!

    Sorry that youre not feeling well again today nanny...fingers crossed that you improve for the weekend

    off shopping in a bit to stock up on a few bits and bobs...the boys have been away camping this week and will be arriving home starving at tea time with a bag each of no doubt wet and smelly clothes so I also need to get my other washing and ironing done so as to concentrate on the mountain that will appear when they return.
    Its been so quiet without them both and a rare treat that they have actually been away at the same time....but in a strange way I'm looking forward to usual chaos being resoted once they are home.
