    Good morning

I'm a newbie to the APG game, although I was a seasoned user of the DTD, and even managed to get one of the rare £100 DTD vouchers :D

I hope you don't mind helping me with a few newbie questions.

I have tried my first online shop to generate a APG with a poo shop. Will be HD for this coming Thursday. Should I rather change this to CC and try collect today because of possible price changes?

Also, how do you know which store your shop will be compared against?

And once you have an APG, what do you do about the normal shopping you need to do, as that may or may not generate an APG or could even scupper getting one? Do you go in store and buy it without using the APG (which you save for another APG shop) or do you use the APG?

And finally, I have not included any special k items in my shop - should I add some or wait for the next shop? I currently have 10 x poos plus 11 other items.

    Many thanks

I would get the order as soon as possible for glitch shops as prices can change quickly.

I mix in normal shopping only when I know it will still be same or cheaper at the target supermarket. Otherwise, I buy normal shopping when I collect in store.

11 mins to book a slot for today (if your store has same day collection) then until 1pm to confirm. Same day bookings not possible/visible on iPhone app but are through the browser.

Limit is £100 for 1 shop or overall per calendar, so up to you if you get a high value APG (but best to keep under £50 otherwise a £50 evoucher which means having to spend £50 again next time!).

We try to control it, so if you want certain items on offer in t, you choose items that are the same price or cheaper in t..
It works 99% of the time :)

I try to include things I need in a targeted apg shop, its not as obvious as a glitchy shop and it saves me time doing a seperate normal shop.
    Things like 4pt milk blue/green top are £1 in t and s
    6pk salad tomatoes are 69p in t, a, s
    Cucumber is 49p in t and a

Use the website mysupermarket although its not always 100% accurate it will help you find the 'normal' items you need and show you the prices in the other supermarkets so if you ate doing a t shop you can include items the same price or cheaper in t, to add to your apg..

    Hth a bit :)
