Legoland observations for anyone planning to visit.

Slough Travelodge is very conveniently placed but you must need to book well in advance to get a family room :(. Reception faces the door should you need to accommodate any extra little guests ;) (though no issues).

Parking bays in surrounding streets 9-3 Monday to Friday, 9-5 Saturday so arriving outside these times means free parking (single yellows all around 9-6 from memory, so you could park free there too depending on your schedule).

In Legoland - only buy the small refill beaker for £7.50 as unlimited free refill drinks all day. Annual Pass beaker is now £1.99 (larger - more than double size) but 75p per time to refill. Bring a large refillable container with you, buy the £7.50 version then just decant into the larger one as you go round ... ;). I was shocked to see some people buying one refillable beaker per child - is that what you are supposed to do as we managed with one for all of us ... Not once did anyone check the date label on the bottom of the beaker ("free" refills supposed to only be valid on one day but we managed for a few days). Of course you could take drinks with you but a challenge to keep them cold. Take enough food to last until 4pm when kids eat free (one free with full paying adult - burger meal just short of £8, therefore saves about £5.50 for the kids meal off full price). T Extra a 10 minute walk if you wanted to stock up fresh each day (if staying in Slough Travelodge!).

Finally, we got the annual passes through T CC offer and redeemed at the end of August last year - took us up to mid month so covering two summer holidays and all year if we had wanted to. The pass is quite good value as you need at least two days there per visit to see anything and two summers (plus Legoland Manchester free x1) plus other visits if we had wanted more than paid for themselves. Queues were horrendous though and there are plenty if opportunities to spend if you wish (as an example it was £3.25 for a single ice cream cone or £1.25 for a KitKat :().

    Good evening,

Was just coming to report the Mr K 3 for £2, but it has already been discovered. :rotfl:

Sorry I have not been around for a good while, but I have been busy mystery shopping and job hunting.

Although I was unsuccessful with the North West Virgin job I went ahead anyway and applied for the South East (even though it said don't apply again). I managed to get through stage 1 and went to stage 2 at the end of June. Anyway I was placed on a waiting list. I had a call this morning and......

I have been offered a contract to start on September 3rd at the train station in London. :j :j

Onwards and upwards. I'll be glad to see the back of the mystery shop reports they were starting to become tedious.

I'll let you know how it goes I have got to pass the medical yet.

Don't know where I'm going to stay yet though. Anyone know any good hotels in London?

Special K is a C&C glitch. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, I often am.

Make sure they're £1 RTC in your store.

I cleaned out my glory hole a couple of weeks ago, actually found more beans in there

just spent an hr researching vmhost.ex & vm file module.:(:(:(

ive managed to locate it in my files after seeing it running in the task manager and deleted it. im now running a full system scan.

what was happening was my cpu was running at 100% and stopping me browsing. so hopefully cleared now.
