Worse than I thought - they catch you both months ! Just confirms my earlier decision not to do any CC orders after 21st of any month - that way I know that the voucher can be checked, claimed and issued all in the same month. It was the overlap into the following month that confused me. Thank you.
That's why we were getting confused, it is both you need to be aware of. Sadly, I can't do cc as they don't do it at my local store so no way of avoiding it.
Just to add a bit of confusion to the mix, do I take it that although I was capped and so lost about 6 I should count the whole voucher for this month too?0 -

Emily_Rachel wrote: »Hello, hope you've all sorted this by now, but this is my take on the great APG debate.
Instore and C&C/delivery claims all add together to the £100 limit (maybe unless you use different account/address/fictional instore/claim on phone details??)
If you are already close to £100 limit, you can check, but it is not advisable to claim until next month if it would push you over the £100 limit.
If you check on 31st July, and APG would push you over and you decide to claim anyway, voucher will be capped at the £100 July limit.
Even though this voucher may take a week to come, and won't be 'issued' until August, and you have not reached your August limit yet.
This voucher will count as part of your August total. Even though you claimed it in July.
Even though it also 'counts' in July when it comes to A's checking that months total!
This way A will be sure to 'never issue more than £100 per calendar month.'
I also note that when I let my order lapse by not confirming and paying in time, my e-vouchers come back into my account as unused, but with a new date, i.e. they now expire weeks later. I imagine this may be useful if you have vouchers about to expire..
Hope this helps, and doesn't just add to the confusion!
The totals will not overlap and count in two months. It just doesn't happen like that as I've already explained more than once.
Vouchers will change date when newer vouchers are issued and denominations changed whether those vouchers are in your basket or on your voucher page. They will not change just by adding them to your basket and leaving them there. They will time expire if you do that as I've tested this by leaving 1p/2p in my basket. Leaving vouchers in your shopping basket is very risky and you're liable to lose them. Sada have even admitted there is a problem with vouchers disappearing altogether if you do this, even before expiry date. People here have lost them in the past.
I think for those that are dubious/unsure about how it all works and trying to push to the limits maybe you ought to try out some different scenarios yourself rather than rely on conflicting info which is being posted here. That's what I've done.0 -
Good morning all
Not sure the relevance of this as my c&c hasn't confirmed yet but I collected an order this morning .I added items that I knew would compare favourably with sains bobs. One of which was Special K chewy delight milk choc bars. They show as £1.98 each box online but receipt shows they go through as £1. I will confirm apg as soon as I can.
