How Do I?...

Hi there
I'm new to all this, so please be patient.
I'm curious to find out whether myself and OH could claim PPI, but can't remember who provided loans or mortgages in the last few years.
How can I find out if I'm due PPI without using the sharks who are always advertising on the radio and phoning my house.
I'm sure I heard you can use experian etc, but I've used my "free" trial with them, and wondered if there were other avenues I could use to find out if either of us are due anything.
