Flight travel rewards

I am going to be travelling from The UK to Qatar Doha once a month during the next year. What's the best place to join to gain rewards or points for all of these flights?

Qatar Airways and BA fly there and they are both in the One world alliance, so look at their frequent fly schemes and pick the best that suits you.

Where else in the world will you be flying (work or personal)?

Do you get a choice of which airline you will be using or do you get either forced into one or just have to choose the cheapest on the day?

If you have free choice then flying BA and joining their Exec club will get you miles and have flexibility on where you spend them on. Check if your employer has an accelerated scheme with BA that you can join to get up the ranks quicker. TBH, seen many companies have deals with Virgin for instant silver but not BA, doesnt meant the arent out there.

The other obv ones are around hotels and joining their scheme. I like Hilton Hhonors as their Gold level does deliver real benefits and they are often given. A google will possibly show you how to get gold status artificially which will give you a good earning bonus to start with.

Finally, hows this all going to be paid for? If you can stick it on your own card and expense it then you have things like the AmEx Gold card which will give a healthy amount of points for travel spend which can be converted to Airmiles etc
