I have looked hard, I spell check and get my OH to proof read every application. I write for trade and industry magazines for free who in return print my name and email address , I am very active on linked in and twitter. Job centre consultant says am most pro active person she has ever seen and my thinking is very original apart from doing the normal stuff.

I attend interviews with my file always arive early normally to be kept waiting have researched the company normally to be interviewed by someone who I am not sure if they have read my C.V.

Yes I am angry and emotional and upset, I really cannot do any more.

I have researched all the facts that I have used to make my opinions, this has taken me weeks.

I know what I am saying, I know why I am saying it and base everything on facts and experience.

With respect, your previous post quotes two articles as evidence for your initial proposition, from a source well known for sensationalising and exaggerating the case. I don't know you, but this alone suggests that you don't base your "original thinking" on sound and thorough research.

Also "A simple I do not agree but we could do this or it would cost this, which we can get from here would of been more productive to the conversation" should be would have

It's tough out there. Getting a job is not easy, and the competition is stiff. Above entry level jobs, you have to go out and make it happen. What is it you do? Could you do it on a self-employed basis? If you write for the trade, could you build up enough of a following to attract advertising to a blog? Could you advise companies on maximising their social media presence?

I really don't think the answer to your problem is stopping outsourcing or immigration.

The problem is a lot of the jobs are jobs no one wants to do thats why they are available to migrant workers.

The company I work for use Eastern European agency workers.

I personally know of 5 people looking for work in my area. All 5 would like to join the company I work for, local employment, steady work.

However none of them can apply as the agency advertise in Poland and Lithuania and bring young people by the van load with instant job starts and accommodation . They start work directly from landing at the airport and at the end of the week whan they get paid they give the agency half the wage back to pay for thier rent and transport.

I do accept that a lot of people dont want to work but many do and the reason above is why a lot of these people cant get work.

Thats something you need to raise with the company they need to work with more agencies to source their workers or they could just employ more people rather than use agency.

I know it's scary not reading the CV is now the norm, the only times a CV is fully read is when you are rejected at the earliest stage

I don't think it's the norm not to read the CV. However, at interview I want to hear the candidate tell me what they have done. It might seem as if I haven't read the CV, but I want to hear the candidate tell me in their own words.

Often there are a few discrepancies between what's written down, and what's being said. For example, a candidate's CV might say they have budgetary responsibility for a department, but when quizzed, they can't tell me what that means, how much is involved, how the authorisation process works.

It constantly surprises me how people mention jobs that don't appear on a CV (where there are no gaps) when asked to recount their job history.

This is all allowing for interview nerves. It's the CV that gets the interview, after that it's just a bit of paper.

I always read the cv of candidates i am about to interview and prepare questions based on what they have put in their cvs, at the early stages I never read Cvs, I let the software filter though them based on pre-determined criteria.

Interviewing is a small part of my job and I don't have the time to read through the initial 30-60 cvs and I haven't read a cover letter for about 10 yrs.
Which is a shame really as you miss out on the comedy applicants but hey progress is progress.

If you think more money is required how about the billions that are being paid in Tax credits to immigrants from other EU states we could free up that or are billions not enough either.

    Ah, blaming the immigrants...

My wife is an EU immigrant. I can't be sure, of course, but would imagine that she pays in vastly more in taxes than you do. I suppose that you'll now say that she shouldn't be taking British jobs, in our American bank...
