I switched 45 days ago to Cooperative and have just been paid my £100 notes incentive.
Can I switch to M&S now or will I be breaching any terms?
Already done the Halifax and FD switches.
Thanks,

Short answer...yes you can, and no you won't.sho_me_da_money wrote: »Can I switch to M&S now or will I be breaching any terms?
Longer answer...the "terms" are there on their website so better to double check them...and the ones you agreed to when you switched to Co-op, in case they're different...rather than take the word of a stranger on the internet?0 -
^Agree with YB.
From experience though, I got the incentive a few months ago and have just recently binned it for First Direct, having not used it at all since the £100 was paid.
I will keep and use FD though and kept the Halifax account which I opened in 2012, the Co-op account has zero benefits though! Unless that pointless linked savings account is every of use to anyone!0 -
I always keep the account open with £1 in it. You never know when you might 'need' the account for some offer or other0

...and has also done all the currently available offers, with the possible exception of Nationwide refer-a-friend?But OP has already seen another offer, so what would be the point in keeping this account open with £1, rather using it as a 'switcher'?
Plus, can possibly go back to Co-op from M&S in a couple of months?0 -

Indeed, I'd go ahead and switch to M&S, then keep the M&S for whatever offer is next (unless the free £100 overdraft is of benefit, or OP shops in M&S a lot).0 -

Except the £100 M&S vouchers for switching offer...0 -
