Care Home investment

Hi

I have noticed that there are several companies offering investment in assisted living apartments guaranteeing 10% over ten years.

Does anyone know any more details about how risky this type of investment is?

Thanks

Shuntaman

Beware of guarantees underwritten only by the company in which you are investing.

If the latter gets wobbly or collapses, the guarantee will do the same.

Also beware of new posters asking about unregulated investments in a very innocent way!

Guarantees in unregulated investments are not the same as guarantees in regulated investments.

If a firm uses the word guarantee in a regulated investment then it will be just that. These unregulated firms use guaranteed even though 100% loss is possible.
