Insurance for borrowed gadgets

Options
Hi,

For an event, I am borrowing 5 iPhone 5C 16gb's, for a week. They're from a reputable phone company, OneCom. I'm wondering how to get the devices insured, as they don't belong to myself, and I want the minimum insurance term possible.

Any ideas?

Many Thanks

Given you are hiring them from a company do they not sell an insurance?

Alternatively buy normal insurance and cancel it in the statutory cooling off period assuming you dont need to claim. If you do need to claim the full premium would be payable.

Finally, check if they are covered by your home/business insurance. Certainly my home policy would cover these (assuming its not for business use) without having to inform my insurers or adjusting my policy
  • Yeah, I mean the main issue is that they are for semi-business purposes (an event for a company that we're soon to register, not yet operating). They don't do insurance for them, but I'm going to have a chat to them and see what they recommend. Thanks!
