1 the £68 is a membership fee which is listed on the main page of the webpage so thats the allegedly stolen money.

2 Why do you need the £300 ?

Can you not save the money ? Or do you currently not save ?

If the latter how would you repay the loan ?

A payday loan really is a last resort that will trash your credit history and carry a high risk of serious money problems if you fail to repay it ontime.

    If you can either:

    Sell something
    Pawn something
    Borrow from Mum & Dad
Speak to your bank about a short term overdraft

Please, please, please stay away from the payday loans.

You sound like you are in a similar position to me.
4-5 years later I am just about to clear the mess I created at 21.

I'd advise stopping and reordering your card ASAP.

    I mean it. Now.

When you enter your details into lots of these payday loan sites.. they have two parts of the T&Cs meaning you account will get rinsed dry.

    1. "Even if we are unable to provide you with a loan we may take a membership or brokerage fee"

    2. "If we are unable to help you, we may pass your details to other loan providers whom may be able to help, these companies my also charge membership/brokerage fees.

Result? You will have often between 5-15 payday loan companies all trying to take between £50-100 out of your account..

But Chris, I have no money, so they won't be able to take it? - wrong, they run payments through every single day.. for various amounts.. often early hours of the morning so that when you get paid, wave it goodbye..

Its a legitimate scam in the industry.. the 'other companies' are often owned by the same company (A holding company) and they will keep on taking.

Who is your provider? Sometimes you can do a 'VISA dispute' which is a dispute that you didn't authorise the payment, but due to the PDL companies legal framework, most providers reject these cases now.

You can also speak to myloannow and request a refund, often they give you the refund then take the money back under a different name 'Key finance' is another name myloan use.. (I think they're all owned by wonga?)

But, honestly you must stop and reorder the card. Now.
  • ok thanks everybody. my problem is like that Im alone and I live only with girlfriend. I havent got anybody to borrow any money.
I wrote to myloan-now about refund but they answer me one time per day without any details. F***ng scammers

Not really a scam if the information is on their website.

What do you need the money for?

Yes, the One off membership fee of £67.88 is not exactly in small print. It's right under tailoured (sic) to your circumstances which would put me off right away.

You can contact your bank and they can try to get it back under 'services not rendered' - you might have to wait 10-15 days to do this though.

But you must not take out a loan that is offered to you.

    Please save instead!

Does the income from your part time job allow you to service even such a small loan?
You have a bank account, so apply for a personal loan? Payday loans are 'the last resort' for borrowers-not the first.

It is for services rendered, though . He has agreed to join. The website will have their own refund procedures. Follow them
