Bathroom skirting board and slugs

Hello, please can someone advise me?
Over the last few weeks I've noticed from time to time slugs coming into my bathroom at night time from under the skirting board.
The gap between the bottom of the skirting board and the tiled floor is very small so I'm quite surprised that they are coming from there. I watched one the other night disappear back under the skirting board so I know that's where they're definitely coming from.
Today I have decided that I am going to put some kind of sealant from a tube at the bottom of the skirting board so they hopefully will no longer be able to get in. Can anyone advise me what would be the best type of sealant?
Thank you.

Hi, it is very difficult to stop slugs getting in and it has been a bumper year for mating. I would suggest putting salt down where you can see they've been getting in and possibly a torchlight adventure for a few evenings, waiting for them to emerge - then do with them as you wish, although I don't suggest freeing them outside as they will just come back. HthI must remember that "Money Saving" is not buying heavily discounted items that I do not need. :hello:0

I second the salt suggestion. Just pour it all round the skirting board and it should stop them. You can also spread talc all over the floor to trace their trail and find where they are gaining access - then block that particular bit.0
