    I don't know if this has been mentioned in this thread as it's a popular one [and I haven't got time to read it all!], but if you've got washer,etc. problems you might find this site useful. I have looked up stuff a couple of times and it's saved me money....

    All the trades and more are there and it's quite and active forum with some good genuine members.

    You do ocassionally get the odd patronising person. They assume because they know (or think they know) the answer to your question that they are a superior being and therefore have a right to call you "son" and "matey". Tell them where to go is what I say.
