Returning to work!

Hi guys, I want to run something past you all as I need some advice re returning to work. I've done the benefits thingy on turn2us but it's given me info that I don't think is quite right..
I'm currently on income based JSA but have a job interview today
The job is 16 hours a week at NMW (£6.31 per hour) and if I get it ill possibly be starting 18th August.
I have a partner who does not work (I claim JSA for us both)
My partner gets low rate care DLA
We have 3 children aged 5-12 years
We earned nothing in the last tax year
When I did the calculations on turn2us it said I'd get;
£75 a week WTC
£169 a week CTC
£47.60 a week CB
AND this is the bit I don't understand-£2.40 odd a week in JSA????i thought that if I worked 16 hours a week that I wouldn't get any JSA?
Oh and it also said I'd still get all rent/council tax paid too...
I've also got another question-do you get any financial help to make the transistion into work smoother as its monthly pay. I know they've stopped the return to work credit last October.
Thanks in advance

Your partner would still be entitled to claim JSA if they wanted to. At £2.40 a week it's not worth it. It probably wouldn't even cover the bus fare to sign on every 2 weeks. As long as your partner gets the CB then they'll already get NI credits.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

To answer your first question about JSA. Since you have a joint claim and you are also getting the disability element then your salary will be less than this so you will get the difference. (There may be a small disregard)
I think you have put the wrong details into the calculator.
You would not be entitled to working tax credits as you are only working 16 hours. A couple with children need to work 24 hours between them to be eligible for working tax credits.
Try using this calculator:

I've been on entitled to-thanks.
However it still giving me the same figures regarding WTC etc.
it's because there's been some new rules come in-anyone who claims any element of DLA is classed as incapacitated-because my partner gets low rate care DLA and we've got children, I can work 16 hours and get £75 a week WTC.
Basically it says that I can get WTC if I work 16 hours a week and have a partner who is incapacitated or not in work and I have children. However I cannot get any benefits but ill still be entitled to have rent and CT paid as I'm on a low income0
