Refund trouble with oasis clothes shop!

Basically i bought a dress last week. I noticed one of the belt loops was broken when i got it home. I took it back on sunday and asked for my money back she told me sorry its in the sale now so you only get the sale price back. Is this right? It doesnt feel right to me! The labels are on it and i have the receipt for the full price i paid.

    They are wrong.

The goods are faulty, so you are rejecting them because they do not conform to contract, and you are therefore entitled to a full refund.

If the goods were not faulty, then maybe their returns policy will allow them to refund the smaller amount.
