IE shortcut won't start in full screen

My Dad has created a shortcut to Hotmail, but each time he double clicks, it will start as a small window. He'd like it to start in full screen mode. I've checked the properties of the shortcut, but there is no option to specify full screen (I immediately thoughtof the tick box you'd expect to see - but this isn't here). Anyone know a way around this?

I might be wrong here, but I seem to remember you fix this by dragging the window to the correct size then click the window button at the top right of the browser (that's the middle of the three icons, next to the X for close icon). Once you've done that windows should remember the setting and start full size next time.
Try playing around with that. If that doesn't work I have seen a registry edit that will fix it, although I can't find it right now, try searching.Rocky.0 -
maximise it, hold down control, click the X, top right.Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0

If none of the above works. open the shortcut properties (right click -> properties)
ASSUMING your xp it should have a "run" drop down list. in here choose "Maximised"
