Southend-on-sea Parking ticket bought but not seen / displayed

Hi,

I got PCN on my car on last Saturday when visiting southend-on-sea. I bought ticket 10 minutes before PCN issued. But for some reason the ticket was not displayed correctly and so not seen by fine issuer. I've informally challenged to the council.

Do I have a strong case ?

    If this is a council PCN then you need to go over to pepipoo for advice. However as you have already put an appeal in, it may be more of a problem unless you appealed on formal legal grounds.

    Hi yes as stated you need to definitely visit pepipoo as the guys over there are motoring experts . I've had this happen to me on one occasion and I got the PCN cancelled to be fair so am sure you'll be fine
