Women....
My wife is a District Nurse and has a Picanto 1 2011 reg, with about 12k on the clock. Apart from the wheel trims, its in A1 condition. FSH from main dealer etc.
However, she informs me that due to runing anbout more in the car, the car is uncomfortable and lack the AC. I can understand her sentiments, we've had the car from new - she worked in the hospital at that time, so did very little driving.
So, we are looking for a car that we dont have to put that much to after trade in i.e. 2k max plus trade in.
It has to be low on road tax, good fuel economy, comfortable, reasonable boot space, A/c and nothing more than 4 years old. Any suggestions?

See quite fancied a 2007 Mini 1.6 D at 4,500 but it had done over 101k miles. I like the mini, but I am led to believe they are problamtic.

Thanks

4k miles a year doesn't seem like she's in the car a huge amount more averaged out unless 8K+ are in the last year?

I'd certainly be still looking at petrol on any mileage under 10K a year.

I also would run away from a mini.

See what Kia will do you on a Rio or at a pinch a Cee'd?

It's a touch larger and you should do ok on the trade in as they know the car.

I would wholly agree with Alleycat.

You dont need diesel for such low miles and Minis can be pigs of things in terms of reliability.
