Hearing aid loop systems

Is it possible to buy a bluetooth loop system so my computer can connect to the loop system by bluetooth and then the loop system can connect to my hearing aid via t-coil?

I would like to listen to a dvd or music whilst being able to walk across the room because at the minute I am restricted due to the wire having to be plugged into the computer.

If your hearing aid is fairly new, it may well already be Bluetooth enabled. It simply needs to be programmed for you. Your audiologist can advise you on this.

Pretty much every hearing aid manufacturer has been producing Bluetooth enabled aids for some years now. You would need to buy an Accessory to enable your hearing aids to communicate with electronic devices such as computers, mobile phones, iPods, TV, etc. To give you an idea, take a 'google' on Siemens Mini Tek or Oticon Connectline.

Bluetooth will let the devices communicate up to around 10 metres, which is sufficient for most domestic situations.
