I'm not on the open register and got approved with no additional info needed. However, the PO don't seem to be as generous with credit limits and interest rates as other providers so the only advantage to the card for me, apart from the 0% BT, are the fee free foreign purchases.

I applied for a Post Office Credit Card a month ago online and was amazed at how quick and hassle free the process was.


I did not have to send any evidence of identity etc


Had my card within a week!


and no, I'm not on the open register either.


Amazed how easy it was!

ive just got mine and it was amazingly easy. I applied on line and the card arrived 4 days later. the pin arrived two days after the card.
