Halifax wrote to me stating I had ppi on two loans I wasn't aware off. One was a £10.000 loan. The other was £15.000. I paid both loans back early within two Years.
This week I got a letter back upholding my complaint. But they offered £101 and £66 pound. All they offered to pay back is what I paid monthly and the 8% interest.
I phoned them last week and asked was the loan a single premium added in full at the beginning of loan. Of which they agreed. So should I complain about about this, instead of taking monthly offer?
Thanks.

As you repaid the loans early, you would not expect a large redress payment as you get a rebate of part of the PPI premium on early settlement.I phoned them last week and asked was the loan a single premium added in full at the beginning of loan. They appear to be upholding that as a complaint reason and paying the correct method (which is to turn it into monthly premium and refund any difference).I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
