idiot proof minecraft help needed (xbox)

I have brought my ds (7) xbox and minecraft.

We are stuck I have googled but can't understand the answers - they are aimed at gamers and I don't understand what they are talking about

He is in peaceful creative mode and wants to get into bed at night time. Google says to right click at the bottom on the bed but what does that mean??! pressing RB does nothing and RT digs up the bed! We also tried pressing A but you just jump! Help

If anyone is else is new to minecraft and has any questions feel free to post you never know we might be able to answer them.

Also can I play with him in creative mode (we have two controllers)? How do you make it two player?

If anyone could point me to a site with easy to follow instructions that would be great. The game didn't come with instructions! Is that normal of should I have got an instruction manual?

Hi I have asked my 13 year old minecraft addict and he says you have to wait till it is night time on miinecraft and them you press the LT on the controller to go to bed.

OK now for the two player question he says that you start playing in creative as one player then the second player presses the silver button with the big X in the centre of the controller to switch it on. This will make a pop up come on the screen to pick who you want to be. After this the second player presses start and the screen will spilt for two player. He thinks it only works if using a HDMI cable to plug the Xbox into the TV but is not 100% on that. Hope that helps you.
I have a 13 year old and a nearly 9 year old who play all the time, they have mincraft on the Xbox, the PC version and the pocket edition on the tablet and the older ones phone.

thank you again. My ds is minecraft mad as well he only had it on a tablet previously (which seems to be easier to work out how to play), he spends ages watching youtube videos about it which he has learnt alot but they don't explain the basics!

We do have a hdmi cable so will try it but the plan is to get it fixed up to an old computer monitor so he can play on that as he doesn't have a tv and if I let him use it on the main one then I will never get to watch anything!

"Right click" sounds like instructions for the pc version of the game (where you'd right click your mouse button), rather than xbox.

duh so it does, told you I needed idiot proof instructions - no wonder it wouldn't work :rotfl:

im my defense I did google I wanted xbox instructions and that came up - but I should have realised

I know peaceful mode is very easy that's why I chose that one to start so he can practice getting used to the controls, once he is used to how it works he can venture into the creeper mode.
