Just a bit of advice please. I have a new Panasonic tv with integrated FREEVIEW and want to change my ancient analogue VCR and my basic DVD player for a single unit DVD recorder/player. I am not very techniocally minded but have seen one that I 'THINK' is what I want. its a SONY RDR HXD860S.
I want one thats simple to use, with a hard drive, one thats plays most types of discs, is at least a region 2 and one that lets me record one programme whilst being able to watch another.I believe that the recorder needs to have a FREEVIEW tuner.
I have seen this Sony one on Ebay and other internet sites, best price of about £180.(damaged packaging, but otherwise new).
Can someone be kind enough to advise me if this is indeed the right one for me, or recommend another in this price range. (up to £180). I dont need an 'all singing all dancing' type just something that will playback stored tv recordings et, plays film discs. I dont need a high tech, high spec thing that needs somone with a Degree to work out how to use it.
Thanks
