Could someone please help me

Hi everyone
Im wondering if there is an independent group of people (not citizens Advice or the Benefit Agency) who can help me fill out my benefits forms?
Many thanks

Really depends where you live, in my area, housing associations have their own welfare rights advisers, if you have a certain condition you may be able to get help from their society, for example; RNIB.
Forums can be/are a good guide to entitlement and it is good practice to back it up with clarification from the relevant department/specialist with written confirmation to safeguard yourself.
  • Thank you both I will have a look thanks so much :)

Most councils have ditched welfare rights workers as far as I know.

Do you have a 'center for independent living' near you as they may have advisors.

If you have been in the forces the Brittish legion are amazing.. they helped my Dad.

If you're hoping for a national service open to all, free, with no waiting, more skilled than CAB - ask your local unicorn.

If affiliation means relationship the CAB are as they receive money from the UK governement and an extra chunk from the Scottish government. I'd guess any advice/help organisation receives some form of tax payers' or lottery money however.

OP, it depends which area your needs/disabilities are in -if you'd rather not mention it you'll have to Google it.
