It might not have been a lane change if there were 2 exit lanes.

Op has not posted google maps of images. My experience of roundabouts is that 3-4 lane roundabouts tend to have guided exits with solid lines.

Very rare, if ever I've seen guided lanes on a 2 lane roundabout. If lane 2 is straight on or turn right.

Dash cams are cheap enough now, and may have provided sufficient evidence to prove one way or another. I have a fear the incident may end up 50/50 at best.

Got to google maps, identify the location, move the man icon onto the junction of the roundabout and the streetview map should open. Then navigate to the exact spot so we can see the junction your OH was pulling out of in drivers seat view. Then copy the link from the address bar and post it here.

    Thanks
Ok not ideal but here we go here we go..

Entrance to the roundabout, nothing has changed.

My wifes car would be basically the red car on the right and 3rd party car(blurry) on its left.
(You can just about make out in the distance the road markings on the approach to the traffic lights showing green.)
My wife plans to follow the contour of the roundabout in the right hand land and remains on the right as if to go straight
3rd party car is in left hand lane ,speeds up to turn right into the roundabout ahead of my wife.
Impact happens just to the right of the white Thrifty van.

Not expecting to win the case but dont really want to lose it- I understand best we could get is 50/50. Good to get a few impartial opinions from you guys.
By the way over the period of a couple of days as I also use this roundabout to and from work I counted 23 out of 25 cars that travelled straight over the roundabout from the right hand lane including 3 police cars.Lets not forget that cars approach in from the right into the roundabout that naturally takes them into the same lane as my wife
Not saying its right but have stated this in our report to support our case.

    Thamks as usual

    Road/Junction name? Travelling which way?

Are the road markings the same in google streetview as they are now?

If it's as you said then it's the other car's fault. Still means it'll likely go 50/50 as they will probably give a different account.
