ESA Tribunal Appeal Help Please

Hi there everyone,

After a long nightmare with the DWP i've finally had my mandatory consideration back & they are sticking to their original decision.

I completed the appeal form and sent it to Her Majesty's Tribunal Services & i've had a letter back from them saying they have received it and that they have written to the DWP to inform them i have appealed.

My question is, Can i now receive my ESA again? I know i couldn't continue to receive it while it was being considered but now i'm not sure what to do with it.

I had to claim JSA & its a good job i did as i would of been out of money for a long time, Its a nightmare dealing with this JSA with my conditions & even my advisor at the job centre said they should hurry this up as she feels i should not be on JSA.

They haven't given me any information on how i can continue to receive my ESA while its awaiting a tribunal hearing, If i can continue to recieve it i'm not sure what to do as i have an open JSA claim and if i can continue the ESA want to try and avoid losing any money.

I hope this makes sense and someone is able to point me in the right direction,

Thank you so much in advance.

Phone ESA, and tell them you have appealed, and would like to restart payment of your ESA, as you can't cope with JSA.

    as roger says.
now that you have had your mandatory reconsideration and are taking your claim to appeal, you should now be receiving ESA ( assessment rate) instead of JSA

    Thank you for your reply,

Will I need to send medical certificates from my doctor again or will the payments just start until appeal is heard.

    Thanks again
