BoS/Halifax clash?

I have a BoS Vantage account with a regular saver. I have just now opened a Halifax Reward current account- I'm interested in the Clarity credit card and the 5 pound a month reward from Halifax. At the end of the successful application, I chose to switch an account- a seldom used Natwest, might as well with the 100 switch bonus.
When I logged into my new Halifax account, I see my BoS accounts- was not expecting this, I know they're on the same FSCS license but did not figure the online would combine them. It's good because it will avoid having to log into BoS separately. Questions:
1) Will there be any clash in having both? Specifically, if I sign up for Halifax's regular saver on top of the BoS I already have?
2) Halifax's switch bonus does not apply to customers switching a BoS account, but remains applicable to BoS account holders switching from another institution e.g. Natwest. Is this correct?

You definitely can have Halifax Reward accounts as well as BOS Vantage ones. Whether you can have monthly savers from both banks I don't know - what do the T&Cs say? I admit I had never considered the Halifax regular saver of interest as there are many much better ones in the market.
You can switch any non-HBOS account to Halifax, regardless of whether you have BOS Vantage accounts or not.0 -
You'll be fine with a Halifax Regular Saver.
Just not sure why you'd want one!0 -

There are not two banks, only one - Bank of Scotland.
You can't switch from itself to itself.
HBOS doesn't and never had any bank accounts; much like Lloyds Banking Group or RBS Group it simply owned banks! You definitely can have Halifax Reward accounts as well as BOS Vantage ones.
