Hello! Right I've a slight conundrum and wondered what you guys thought.
I've had a Virgin card for a few years now but I stopped using it a while back and somehow actually accrued a >£20 credit. I received a letter from them a month ago saying that as there has been no activity they were proposing to close the account. No problem I though and it explained that if there was money owing to me from them (yes) that I should contact them with bank details for them to transfer it. Rather cheekily I thought there was absolutely no phone number on the letter! Anyway after getting through to them the money was returned to me but then low and behold through the post I have received a new card!? Er.. thanks..
I am debating whether to keep it as an emergency card or whether there are better ones on the market in your opinion?

            Hi,
I recommend that you keep the card as a emergency back up and make a few small spends on it every month just to keep the card busy for Virgin MBNA's sake. (Of course pay in full!)
I have had the card myself, so I think its a good card.
