Anyone ever bought/sold a Wheeler Dealers car..?

Often wondered. But never heard of anyone buying a car off then or even selling them one.

I'd love to sell a car to Mike, cos I'd tell him to do one when he wanted money off :)

I thought they were just all actors in the programme. Cars are probably pre-acquired and it wouldn't be mike buying it from you in person.

I'm sure I've seen the same ''buyer'' of one of their cars in 2 different episodes.

I'd buy one- and I'd get a discount!

I know someone who won a Porsche on one of these type of programmes, if that counts.

Well worth his £1.50/minute or whatever it cost text, I suppose!

Saw one of the american cars on eBay for less than it "sold" for.

The earlier cars seem better value, when Ed actually fixed them, rather than just add £5000 worth of bling and advertise various companies that he is rumoured to work for..
I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

(except air quality and Medical Science ;))

Most of them end up on eBay. I'd love to know where they get wheels refurbished, they always come back with new tyres on, the price of which never gets a mention.

perhaps that's because the £6-800 wheels bill inc tires.

It is just light entertainment, but I hope that no budding dealer ever takes on the range of cars that the show does and has such phenomenal luck in bagging the minority of them that escape common (very expensive) engine or transmission faults. I hope too they take into account labour charges and the ability to fix rather than replace costly components.

That random site has a few places to buy some of their cars. Good fun to watch, but I lost a lot of interest when he re-painted a car completely, then sent it for an MOT, and it failed on rust.

Would like to watch the episode where he strips a car down completely, sand blasts the shell, then rebuilds it back up.
